The Redmen is a Garage Blues Rock duo from Paris, France, consisting of Coco-Jackie Jack Tank "Black Mamba" Lovestick, also known as Alex (vocals, guitar) and Joe Duncan "Headfuck" Lovestooge, also known as Richard (drums, guitar and some vocals).
We started playing in the Parisian suburbs in 2005, our first public performance was on 13 May 2006 in a local festival.
We love the blues, garage & vintage rock, so basically that's what we do!
Escaping from all sorts of crappy bands, we just decided to go back to the roots of rock'n'roll and do something that would kick ass... and we didn't want to be bothered by anyone, so we decided to be a two-men band. Some of our major influences:
MC5, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, The Stooges, Blind Willie Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Leadbelly, The White Stripes, The Black Keys...
